Tips for Properly Using Visualisation

Visualization Blog - Tips for Properly Using Visualisation

When dealing with visualisation, it's a common misconception to believe that you think of images and that great things will happen. Therefore, it would be best to learn how to weed through all the random images you are subjected to daily. These tips can help you get there.

Read “Your Invisible Power”

There is a book that was published in 1921 by Genevieve Behrend called, Your Invisible Power. Before you go and purchase it on Amazon, search online. Make sure you have the right to read it for free. Because it was published before 1923, it is in the public domain.

Many people believe that the power of visualisation is a relatively new concept. But, as you can see when you find this resource, this is almost 100 years old. And the author learned from someone who was from an even earlier period.

Meditation

It’s proven that meditation relaxes the mind. It puts us into a state where we can perform our visualisations in the best ways possible. You may even start your visualisations as you meditate when you practice it enough. If nothing else, it is a great way to reduce stress. Even if you are not using it for visualisations, it still can be pretty beneficial.

Believe

It would be best to believe in whatever you are trying to visualise. Otherwise, your doubts will flood your mind and make your visualisations ineffective. But, on the other hand, believing that the Law of Attraction is real and bringing about the changes you need will give you a solid foundation.

Use Your Imagination

Kids have this extraordinary ability to imagine anything. They imagine they can fly or visit new worlds. They can conjure up a unicorn at a moment's notice. And no one thinks anything of it. They're kids! But, once they turn into adults, they lose that magic ability. What if you permitted yourself to bring back that magic? Imagine the impossible. Dream the unreal. Everything is at your disposal when you use your imagination. It's all about breaking through those barriers you spent years forming. As you release your mind once again to your imagination, the impossible begins to be possible.
